Athens and Decatur each recently received a $20,000 grant from the Lyndhurst Foundation to fund acatalytic community projects.
The funding is a product of the completion of the 2018 Thriving Communities program.
The Thrive team helped transform an unoccupied parking lot into what is now known as aPocket Park.
AThrive has been so effective and has been an energy driving Main Street, a Main Street director said.
